Day 4 Day 5 - Drive down to High Atlas Mountains

Day 6

Morning at the campsite in Fes.

Leaving Europe behind and heading off across the water.

Parking up in Sefrou to do a little shopping and tourism.

The main market place or 'Souk' is inside a walled area.

You can buy pretty much anything you want here it seems.

Narrow streets with stalls built into both sides. Wouldnt be so good if you were claustraphobic!

A nice area for chilling out just outside the walled off Souk.

We didnt really get any hassle from locals here, quite different to where we had stopped previously.

See look we really were there!

Nice as it is, we cant hang around too long - we've places to be...

In the Middle Atlas Mountains, with the High Atlas behind.

We decide to stop for a litle lunch.

and a spot of washed clothes drying!

Suddenly there appears a massive plain between the two mountain ranges - who was expecting that to happen?

and an incredibly straight section of road

Thats even less horsepower than we have available.

Back into a town, and a quick fuel stop.

Wrong Way Down's "V6" Toyota Carina complete with cuddly road kill.

Ninja Tercels no doubt damaging a kids bike

They love their funny looking and randomly placed gate posts round here.

See look theres some more.

Probably means "Europeans bugger off" or somesuch, looks cool though.

Look snow! Whats that doing here? Theres skiing the High Atlas apparantly, who knew?

Where shall we camp tonight? Why not just drive over there and stop? OK!

The locals wont mind so long as the Viking boys give them a free football!

Alan cooks everyone a mighty curry. What a fine day!
